Picnic areas are available to complete your visit. Your dog may also enjoy the dog park (first in Anne Arundel County). The dog park is double gated with 6 ft. fencing around the 1-acre area. It is divided into a small and large dog park, so dogs can play with dogs their same size. We sponsored a bench that's located right outside the dog park, so you can sit and enjoy watching the dogs play. The name of our first Jack Russell, Jonah, is on the bench. The dog beach inside the Park is now open again too!

Looking to add a fur kid to your family, volunteer or make a donation to a worthy non-profit? Here's a list of Annapolis area groups that make a difference (in no particular order):
While not located in Annapolis, this nation group fights to protect the lives and advance the interests of animals through the legal system. Through ALDF we found our dog Ben - who inspired many dog-friendly Annapolis charity events. We fostered Ben in 2005/6 during the ALDF vs. Woodley case. After two plus years, ALDF won the case in 2007 and freed over 300 dogs that would have never known what a home was if it was not for ALDF. Visit their site to learn more or to sign up for their newsletter. We are proud supporters of this amazing animal advocate organization that represents innocent clients.
A Political Action Group with a mission to create a voting bloc of animal advocates who work to represent animal welfare in Maryland laws.
